Germany and Sweden dominate the first three places following the dressage today at Leg 2 of the 2017 Event Rider Masters (ERM) at the Internationales Wiesbadener PfingstTurnier, Germany.  The female trio of Ingrid Klimke (GER), Julia Krajewski (GER) and Sara Algotsson Ostholt (SWE) are the overnight 1,2,3.

Ingrid Klimke riding SAP Escada FRH performed a stunning test in front of the iconic Biebrich Palace, securing a mark of 34.6. Ingrid holds a 1.6 point lead overnight from her German teammate Julia Krajewski riding Chipmunk FRH on 36.2.   Last to go was Sara Algotsson Ostholt riding Reality 39 who also performed a beautiful dressage test, to score 42.0 and take the third position.

Five times Olympian and SAP Equestrian Sports Ambassador Ingrid Klimke commented:

“SAP Escada FRH did a wonderful job, I am delighted with her.  Today Escada was very supple, through and content. She always arrives in the main arena and says “here I am”! Tomorrow will be a very different test, particularly on the cross country as you have to be really fast in the park to save every second you can.  I will definitely be trying to finish on my dressage score to land my first ERM podium finish”.
