Economic impact of ERM lauded in France

The impact of ERM’S first visit to Lignieres en Berry was highlighted at a press conference at the venue yesterday  

Veronique Fenoll, President of Societe Publique Locale 1000 lieux du Berry and Vice President of the Department du Cher welcomed the impact of the ERM at this week’s season finale at Lignieres en Berry.

Madame Fenoll spoke highly of the impact on the local economy in the Department Du Cher specifically in terms of tourism and media exposure.

 “Firstly, All of our accommodation is full, we are delighted with the number of visitors that the ERM finale has generated.

Secondly,  the global television and social media coverage that ERM creates for us as a host region is very impressive. It is important for us to attract new visitors who would not necessarily be aware of our region as a destination to come an visit for the event and also to see us on the international sporting stage. We hope that this will be the first of many years of ERM in Lignieres.”
