Tattersall in pole going into cross country
Britains Gemma Tattersall is the Event Rider Masters (ERM) club house leader going into the final phase this afternoon after an influential morning of showjumping at Leg 1 of ERM at the Dodson & Horrell Chatsworth International Horse Trials.
Riding Quicklook V, Gemma was one of only eleven clear rounds from a field of 40 horses and riders.
Gemma said “Pebbles (Quicklook V) really listened and was so careful, I couldn’t ask for more from her as it was a difficult course with a tight time. The most important thing for us now is to jump clear on the cross country this afternoon, but I will be doing my best to secure that top podium spot."
Bettina Hoy (GER) and Designer 10 sit in second and Nicola Wilson (GBR) Bulana are in third. With Tattersall leading - will we see the first woman ever to top the ERM podium this afternoon?
The overnight cross-country leader Thomas Carlile and Upsilon had costly refusal at the last combination, which dropped them down the order to fifth place.
