Ten nations represented at Leg 1 of the Event Rider Masters

Entries closed last week for the first leg of the new Event Rider Masters series at the Dodson & Horrell Chatsworth International Horse Trails in May. Led by World No 2 Christopher Burton, the class showcases riders from across ten nations, having won many Olympic, World and European medals between them!! The competition starts with Dressage on Saturday 14th May. For the first time in the sport of Eventing the Dressage will be run in seeded order ensuring an interesting first phase. Continuing on Sunday 15th May competitors will Show Jump in the Devonshire Arena in reverse order and go onto the final phase, Cross Country, on Sunday afternoon. With the top twenty following show jumping running round Ian Stark’s challenging course in reverse order and the new Kiss & Cry podium at the finish, the stage is set for an exciting climax to a super competitive two days of competition.
