St James's Place Barbury International Horse Trials
The world’s top Eventers will be at the third leg of the Masters series at Barbury as part of their Nation’s final selection trials ahead of the Rio de Janeiro Olympics in August.
Barbury Castle is a perfect site for watching top class eventing. It is in the middle of horse racing country and is in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Almost every one of the Mark Phillips' designed cross country fences is visible from the central arena complex and the excitement of the Event Rider Masters format with the added Olympic selection tension is sure to make this a great sporting occasion.
In 2016, Barbury is also supporting the Injured Jockeys Fund with the innovative Jockeys vs Eventers vs Showjumpers competition. You will be able to support the lunch on Saturday in the Barbury Restaurant for Swindon's Radiotherapy Appeal where you will have a chance to meet Rory Bremner - their Appeal Patron.
